“ Good variety of ingredients, could do with a few more western meat options like lamb, pork or beef pieces. The cleanliness left much to be desired, the pots aren't cleaned well and have dirty water in the base of them with dried foods on the sides. The seating is a little cramp but this can't be fixed due to small size so no issues there just an observation. The broth I had was the pork based and it was delicious. The staff member wasn't a happy camper, and had to be pressed to be of any assistance. ”

“ The food is very delicious and tasty with a large range of ingredients including fresh veggies and meat. There isn’t any spring onions or coriander because you can ask for it as garnish on top of the food. The sauce selection has a wide range and has many drinks too. Very popular so there was a short wait. Hopefully this malatang chain can spread to other cities too. Great food but it was just bit salty but other than that it was great with very friendly staff and a lively atmosphere. Many restaurants spread across Melbourne CBD and close to hotels and other food stores. Recommended for anyone who is passing by and quick service which is really convenient. ”
“ Went to this restaurant at 2pm on Saturday. It was crowded but there were still tables available. It’s similar to other Mala hotpot restaurants where you have to put your own fresh ingredients into the pot as you want and pay for the food so the restaurant can cook it for you. The price is based on the weight of the food you put in. This meal cost around $25 per bowl. There are a lot of fresh vegetables to choose from. The marinated meat is very delicious. Too bad I just saw the cabinet of sliced meat hidden on the side so I didn't try it. The spicy soup is delicious and well-rounded. This restaurant offers a free bowl of rice for each person (it's edible, don't expect it). There is free kimchi and a free dipping sauce bar for you to help yourself. Overall, the food is delicious. The restaurant is decorated well. The music in the restaurant is quite loud. Waited for the food for about 10 minutes. Everything was okay. Will go back to eat again. ”
